This book is timely, well-written, and very informative. I particularly appreciated the history of the smartphone that the author carefully lays out in the earlier section of the book. The chapter on waste - physical and economic - was also riveting.

I learned more from this book than any other single book on smartphones I've read to by: For anyone who has owned a cellphone or smartphone over the past several decades, this book is a fascinating, enlightening, and dare I say nostalgic read.
